Hello everybody. I'm new here, and by new I mean I just created an account roughly 1.2 minutes ago. Now, since I have no idea how to write fanfictions and I can't draw to save my mother's life, I decided to write. Which I enjoy. and I'm also feeling strongly opinionated on the subject of Disney princesses, so what the heck? I'm going to shut up now and get on with it-
13. Aurora
There's a lot a girl can do with 18 minutes when she's the main character. And when she has three fairie mammas watching over her. Honestly, Aurora, there's no excuse for being boring.
12. Ariel
I used to love Ariel. When I was eight. Now that I'm grown up (physically at least) I realize that Ariel has her lovable quirks, which are unfortunately smothered by her selfishness and, how do I say this, dim wittidness. Phew, that was a long sentence.
11. Belle
Ah, Belle. You read. It's a sad day when that fact alone makes you the queen superb over the rest of the princesses. Haha, not anymore. Belle, when someone who imprisoned you and nearly gave your aged/ moderately senile father a heart attack tells you not to go someplace, DO NOT GO THERE. Sheesh. One job, Belle. ONE JOB.
10. Cinderella
She's like what, twenty? Honestly, it doesn't take a genius to get up and leave her evil stepmother. Or get CPS on her ass.
9. Snow White
I admire Snow's temerity. Girl just walks into the house and knocks out. Not many people can accomplish that and NOT get the cops called on them. Aside from that, she undergoes a very tramatic attempt on her life and she just keeps on whistling. Way to go, Snow (nice soprano, BTW).
8. Jasmine
She's feisty, but she's a classic and annoying case of rebel princess syndrome. Anyone with a pet tiger shouldn't complain.
7. Pocahontas
She started way higher when I thought up this list. Oh well. I like her eco- friendliness and daredevil streak.
6. Rapunzel
A very talented woman, this 'Punzel is (did that even make sense?). I think her character is actually pretty deep, because of her feelings toward Mother Gothel. Any gal who automatically befriends a bunch of thugs and makes them sing Show Tunes is pretty perfect. So that's why she's at six.
5. Anna
Yay for Frozen! Anyway, I love how much Anna is willing to put her life in danger because she loves her sister. That is true love, thank you Disney for noticing.
4. Merida
I'll be honest with you people. I can't remember this movie at all. But whatever, Merida was a rebel without being annoying, she had crazy hair, she didn't fall in love, and she learned the true meaning of family. Besides, she's, she's a milestone for Disney because her hair is crazy, she's not drop dead gorgeous, her waist isn't smaller than her head, she doesn't have a model's figure, and last but certainly not least, she doesn't fall in love. Way to go Merida!
3. Elsa
Hooray for Frozen again! Anyway, not only is Elsa voiced by Elphaba (gotta love Wicked!), but she also sings the best and most motivational song in Disney's history. She struggles with a curse, burdened by the fact that she's a danger to her kingdom and sister. Deep stuff.
2. Tiana
Seriously? People hate her because she doesn't take a break? Unlike some of the other princesses, Tiana is actually ambitious enough to get off her ass and not wait for a prince to save her and she gets hate? Wtf? Tiana is hardworking, intelligent, driven, and capable. There's only one better rolemodel, and that is-
1. Mulan
Aww yeah! Can you say badass? Chick is not only the domineering beacon of shining girl power, but she saved her freakin' country! All I did today was watch Futurama and write this article! And plus, she joined the army to save the same father that let her sit in the cold rain all night. What a woman.
