I hope that you have a great time in Europe, Anna!
I hope that you have a great time in Europe, Anna!
Hi guys, since the Asian batch made it through the front page of Fanpop. Here are the European batch of Anna!

Italian (Serena Rossi)

My first impression on Serena (no, not her namesake Frozen costar, Serena Autieri) is that she sounds a bit like Kristen Bell. But, one thing is that her voice is slightly deeper than Kristen and overall good job! (Ratings: 9.5/10)

French (Emmylou Homs)

When I first heard her singing Love is an Open Door, she sounds very bubbly and gentle at the same time. She does not sound heavy at all! (Ratings: 10/10)

Dutch (Nootje Herlaar)

Okay, I found out that Nootje is actually 10 years younger than Willemijn, who voiced Elsa. Which makes the film more realistic. So good job and hooray for the Netherlands! (Ratings: 10/10)

Polish (Magdalena Wasylik)

Another youngest Polish Frozen cast, I love how she actually sound relatively young like her Dutch counterpart. (Ratings: 9/10)

Lithuanian (Neringa Nekrasiute)

She sounds very bubbly and hippy, I love her rendition of For the First in Forever. In fact, she is best Anna out of the European batch! (Ratings: 10/10)

Danish (Kristine Yde Eriksen)

I had listen to Love is An Open Door, another young batch and she sounds a little operatic at certain parts of the first verse. But good job Denmark! (Ratings: 9.5/10)

Latvian (Beāte Zviedre)

Her rendition on Love is An Open Door was amazing. She comes out as being the shy Anna to the happy-go-lucky Anna as seen in the mentioned song. (Ratings:9.5/10)

Greek (Vássia Zaharopoúlou)

An operatic Anna, and I love how she sounds happy in For the First Time in Forever. She's very hyper and dashing at the same time! (Ratings: 8/10)

Castilian Spanish (Carmen Lopez Pascual)

Don't get me wrong, I love the Spanish language and listening to this rendition makes me want to watch the movie in Castilian and I love her rendition of Love is an Open Door. She sounds smooth and relatively young,¡Viva la España! (Ratings: 10/10)

Flemish (Aline Goffin)

I really love her voice because she brings out the innocence in Anna especially, considering that Anna is very young. (Ratings: 10/10)

Norwegian (May Kristin Kaspersen)

Anna's native mother tongue, she sounds perfect for the role and I'm glad that Norway has very good singers. Especially when it comes to Disney and Non-Disney dubs! (Ratings:10/10)

Estonian (Hele Kõrve)

She sounds eerily like Kristen Bell, but she's more gentle than Kristen I have to say, so good job Estonia! (Ratings:9/10)

German (Pia Allgaier)

I love the German language and their culture, one thing about her singing is that she comes from being shy to the excitable Anna. Especially if you listen to her rendition of Love is an Open Door and For the First Time in Forever reprise. (Ratings:9/10)

Czech (Tereza Martinková)

Yes! The Operatic Anna! Well, it looks like dear Anna has taken singing lessons under Sarah Brightman and Katherine Jenkins. She sounds wonderful! (Ratings: 8/10)

Serbian (Lejla Hot)

My opinions on her is quite similar to her Belgian counterpart, although at certain parts she sounds pitchy. But, good job Serbia once again for getting a good singer. (Ratings: 8/10)

Portuguese (Isabel Jacobetty)

I love how she projects her voice, and it makes Anna her person ranging from emotions to singing style. (Ratings: 9.5/10)

Swedish (Mimmi Sanden)

Again, she sounds A LOT like Kristen Bell, like her costar Annika. She also scores a perfect ten for the very same reason as Annika! (Ratings: 10/10)

Romanian (Cătălina Chirţan)

She also did the voice of Belle in the Romanian dub for Beauty and the Beast, she sounds different here and I'm glad that she is trying to distinguish herself from Belle and has a great chemistry with Dalma! (Ratings: 9/10)

Catalan (Paula Ribo)

Despite that I'm not use to listening to the Catalan dub, but I have that this is my least favourite dub for strange reasons. I am just not use to listening to her voice, it sounds very jerky at times. (Ratings: 6.5/10)

Bulgarian (Vesela Boneva)

Wow! Another young and innocent Anna in the house. It's like Kristen Bell could sing in Bulgarian and reprises her role once again! (Ratings:9.5/10)

Finnish (Saara Aalto)

I'm quite surprise that this Anna sounds very young once again, and when I first watch this movie in English. I thought that the film was set in Finland due to the Vuelie intro sung at the Prologue! Good job Finland once again. (Ratings: 10/10)

Croatian (Sementa Rajhard)

Another operatic Elsa in the house, she sounds very majestic and innocent when she sang the reprise of For the First Time in Forever. (Ratings: 9/10)

Slovene (Tanja Ravljen)

I don't know why, but I feel neutral about her performance. Once again, she brings out the innocence and youthfulness of Anna. (Ratings:9.5/10)

Icelandic (Þórdís Björk Þorfinnsdóttir)

The last Scandinavian and I love how bouncy she is, especially in For the First Time in Forever and Love is an Open Door. (Ratings: 10/10)

Russian (Natalia Bystrova)

While listening to the Russian dub, it reminded me of the Soviet animation back in the fifties. So, my opinion on her is the same as the Bulgarian counterpart! (Ratings: 9.5/10)

Slovak (Lucia Molnárová Bugalová)

Wow! How many opera singers do we have here? She sounds pitchy at certain parts, but good job! (Ratings:8.5/10)

Hungarian (Vágó Bernadett)

Previously, she did the voice of Tiana in the Princess and the Frog for the Hungarian dub. I am happy that she has the perfect voice for Anna, so great job Hungary! (Ratings: 10/10)

Ukrainian (Marija Jaremčuk)

Another voice that I'm very neutral with, in fact Ukraine has very good singers too, so I would not be surprise at all! (Ratings: 10/10)

Turkish (Deniz Sujana)

Deniz sounds very bubbly, especially in the song Love is an Open Door. In other words, amazing! (Ratings: 10/10)

Albanian (Alma Koleci)

Once again, this is got to be the worse dub I had ever heard out of the European batch. It sounds like Alma is drunk and goes to a karaoke party singing tipsy! (Ratings: 0/10)

Anna's Grandeur European Holidays

Well, it looks like Anna is having a great time in Europe, so what do you all think? Next stop, to the Middle East!
Guys, this is NOT World Idol or the Eurovision!

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd favorite princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP movies that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to heart while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved by the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good fairies put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

12. Cinderella crying in the forest:
More than her dress...

Like I stated in my last wallpost I'm about to lose my grandmother and so I decided to write an article about some of the Saddest Moments in the DP Movies in no particular order (but I'll mention my number 1 in the end of the article). So anyway hope you'll like this article

Brave: The 2nd Sunrise
I may not be a big fan of Brave, but this scene is sad, when I first saw this movie in the cinemas I cried during this scene and I still find this scene to be quite sad

Cinderella: The Dress Ripping Scene
This scene is so sad to watch everytime, Cinderella had the chance of finally getting out of the...

If any of you are familiar with character stylization or really art in general you might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the author of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality...

1.Pocahontas and Merida are currently the only Princesses to not originate from the traditional fairy tales.

2.Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Belle are currently the only Princesses to not be voiced by the respective actresses from their original films.

3.Belle is the only Disney Princess to have hazel eyes.

4. Mulan is also the first Disney Princess to not actually be a princess. All the others are either royal by birth, or marry into royalty.

5.Ariel is the only Disney Princess who was not born a human.

6.Both Mulan and Tiana are left-handed.

7.. Rapunzel’s eyes are the biggest compared...

My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music
Video: link

This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared by the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the animals what they would do and starts singing With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song or whilst she' singing she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White singing this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

Since this section has been very inactive lately I decided to fresh it up by writing another article, about my favorite Disney Princesses, hope you'll like this article :)

13. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess that I don't like at all, but I don't dislike her either, I feel neutral towards her. The main reason might sound weird, but it's mainly because I don't think she fits in the Disney Princess lineup, to be perfectly honest I would appreciate her character more if she wasn't an official Disney Princess. Besides that there's nothing wrong about her character except her temper, she's...

Hello All! Due to my life interfering with my time these days, I took a hiatus from article writing. I also took a hiatus, because KataraLover and Cruella stepped into the void, and took on the “these are horrible characters argument” in a set of ongoing video discussions that can be found on the video links page of The Disney Princess Club. (My hat goes off to them, as they were dispelling the myths and stigmas surrounding certain unbeloved characters). Great work, guys!!!
Since this is the last article on the Vices of the Disney Princesses, I want to at least say...

I have been inspired by seeing articles that defend Ariel on Fanpop so I thought I would write my own.

Ariel also gets a lot of flack and it drives me insane! People say Ariel is anti-feminist because she gives up her voice to be with Eric. She always wanted to be human. At the beginning of the film she was collecting artifacts of the human world. Do you think she was collecting artifacts because of Eric? The song Part of Your World, she wasn't even singing about Eric. Her fascination with humans is what lead her to become interested in Eric. If it wasn't her fascination with humans, she wouldn't...

It's been a while since I last wrote an article so I decided to do an article about which princesses I can relate to the most, hope you'll like this article

13. Merida

Like her I can lose my temper and get angry sometimes and I prefer being single (but unlike her I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with someone), but besides that we're not similar at all, I'm more girly than her

12. Tiana

I putted Tiana higher than Merida because we both love cooking and we both have a strong relationship with our mothers, but besides that we aren't that similar, I'm less hard working and more fun...
