[Breaking] ChoA announces her departure from AOA 

After a lot of speculation that she would leave AOA, ChoA herself confirmed her leave through an Instagram post on June 22. She explained her reasons were depression and insomnia, stating her attempts to use medication did not help.

It was announced on her IG only minutes ago. Pretty difficult to get a proper translation that quickly. I google translated it but it lacks a lot.

Not surprised. But it is sad... wish her the best though ^^ she is so talented she\'ll do well no matter what she does from now on.

i will miss my relationship with her high notes that sometimes annoys me and most of the time just completes everything.

I was just scrolling through FB and I saw this and my heart Broke T^T I knew that maybe this was gonna happen but i still prayed that she wont leave but now she left alreadyT^T If ur happy with ur decision then it fine as long as ur happy. FIGHTING CHOA AND AOA!!! T^T

That\'s very sad.  I\'m guessing she will be leaving the industry if that is the case.  Big blow for AoA as she was one of it more popular members and best vocalists, but they will likely survive for the remainder of their contract (Chances are they wouldn\'t have gone past their current contract anyway as we have all seen the last few years how rare that is).  This industry can really chew up and spit people out who have mental health issues that develop once they debut or were maybe already there, but not a real problem prior to the long hours and public scrutiny of everything they do.  For some perhaps performing is an outlet that helps them cope with such issues and for others it becomes a hell.  Hopefully she gets better and had a good life.

My opinion: she wants to go solo, she doesn\'t like being in a group, well wish her the best! Hope the members will stay in touch :)
