Okay, so, my friend and I were watching Mulan. And you know the part where they call up Mulan's father to enroll in the army? Well, when he started walking my friend just goes, "yeah, like a boss ass pimp." I sort of died. I'm still laughing while typing this and it's quite sad. Fa Zou jus has so much swag. XD Ah I'm going to hell.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a major Tarzan fangirl (everybody probably already knows this, but...), and I whilst I love Tarzan TO DEATH as a movie, I really hate how they make the animals talk, even if they're not speaking English. Which, you know, is a common theme in disney movies and probably why I don't like a lot of them. Does that bother anyone else or am I just weird in that regard? Giving animals character I don't mind so much, but personification gets on my nerves.

I understand where you're coming from. While it's true animals do communicate, none have created a language with grammar and syntax, even those that are capable of communicating in sign language.over a year ago
I've seen Tarzan so many times that it doesn't bother me anymore, but I can definitely see why you don't like it when they speak. One of the reasons why I love Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron so much is the fact that the animals don't speak, yet you can perfectly understand what they want to say and how they feel.over a year ago
